Air quality is one of the most important characteristics of an indoor environment. In terms of human health, indoor sources can generate astonishing levels of pollutants under otherwise acceptable circumstances, causing illnesses and sick-building problems. Even building structures considered stable could contain literally thousands of compounds emanating from consumer products and everyday materials.
