Program Support for Energy Performance Contracts
In addition to performing energy assessments and audits, GEOMET is working with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). NYSERDA=s main objective is solving energy and environmental problems through traditional methods while also promoting and encouraging novel ideas, products, and services.
GEOMET is providing technical services in support of NYSERDA's New York State Energy $martSM Standard Performance Contract (SPC) Program. The SPC Program essentially offers "monetary rewards" to energy service companies (ESCOs) for creating and implementing cost-effective electric energy efficiency measures. ESCOs submit project applications to NYSERDA for review and approval if eligible.
