GEOMET is combining energy efficiency and environmental protection skills
under a special Pollution Prevention (P2) and Energy Efficiency (E2) program
in the State of Pennsylvania.
Being "green" can pay dividends in greenbacks ($$). Preserving
the environment can save any business money by increasing the efficiency
of processes and reducing energy and material expenditures. If a small
business in Pennsylvania (less than 100 employees per business unit) and
committed to "greening" the State or simply wish to reduce business
costs, then contact us.
As a special incentive, Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection
(PADEP) is offering grants, up to $5,000, to the Pennsylvania small business
owner, to bring in the expertise of a company such as GEOMET to assess
P2E2 savings. We have performed pioneering research in integrating other-than-energy
savings into energy retrofit projects under the sponsorship of FEMP and
the U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory. We are uniquely
qualified to assist in determining energy and environmental cost savings.
While the initial P2E2 Assessment is a critical first step to realizing
energy and environmental savings, our focus extends beyond the P2E2 Assessment
to help develop the project and obtain additional grants and loans to
make future P2E2 projects a reality.
