Indoor Air Quality

GEOMET is a pioneer in many areas of indoor air quality research, including product emissions testing, indoor air quality monitoring, statistical modeling and building investigations. Some of our research on environmental pollutants, such as airliner cabin studies, blower door testing, modeling of exposure to toxic substances, radon testing and exposure and risk assessments, have led to landmark changes that helped lessen pollutant levels and improve indoor environmental conditions both on land and in the air.

Ambient (Outdoor) Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas (GHG)

In the air pollution area, GEOMET has helped ease clients down the "path of least regulatory resistance" by performing extensive emissions inventories, preparing air permits, air risk assessment modeling, risk management planning, dispersion modeling, and other related efforts in support of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 (CAAA90), including CAAA90 planning.

In the Greenhouse Gas area we have excelled at providing GHG inventories/analysis that are backed up by GHG mitigation solutions. In addition we are an accredited AB32 verification body in the State of California for GHG inventories.

Meteorological Applications

Our meteorological services include a fully equipped weather center capable of developing specialized weather forecasts, artificial intelligence (AI) based systems for both weather forecasting and other environmental analyses. Increasingly, GEOMET has built on this capability to help clients by Hazard & Vulnerability Assessments to characterize and deal with absolute and relative risks posed by weather-related risks.

GIS

For more than 25 years, GEOMET has provided customized computer-based mapping and digital cartographic services and developed GIS databases to help clients pinpoint geographic areas of interest and determine zones of impact.

Energy Services

We provide the full range of energy services including energy/water audits, engineering and design solutions, energy program management, feasibility analysis and design for renewable energy projects including wind, solar, biomass and other renewables. In addition, we marry energy with environment and handle tough NEPA and air permitting/credits issues with respect to energy projects.
