GEOMET Technologies, LLC is seeking Air Quality Engineers/Scientists in our Germantown, Maryland office.

1. Entry Level Position

Recent Environmental/Engineering Degree graduates. (BS/MS)

The successful candidate will work with senior staff conducting air quality/compliance studies. Job duties involve:

• Air emissions calculations and manipulation of data bases
• Compiling records associated with ensuring compliance with all air regulations
• Support to senior air staff on complicated permitting/other air projects

Candidates should have knowledge of Clean Air Act Regulations and have the ability to travel.

2. Junior/Mid-Level Air Quality Engineers/Scientists:

BS Engineering/Environmental Science degree with 2-5 years experience with helping clients maintain compliance with Clean Air Act regulations. Work includes the following:

• Preparation of permit applications (Operating/Construction), New Source Review (NSR)
• Work with and/or implement recordkeeping and air data management systems. Directly work with regulators regarding air issues
• Conduct air emissions inventories and prepare associated compliance reports and necessary certifications
• Ensure facility compliance with applicable air regulations and suggest courses of action
• Conduct reviews with respect to NESHAP, RACT and other requirements.

All air quality candidates must have excellent computer skills including proficiency in EXCEL. Presentation skills are a plus.
