GEOMET is a qualified
contractor for performing Pollution Prevention (P2) and Energy Efficiency
(E2) Assessments of small businesses in the State of Pennsylvania under
the auspices of PA Act 190. We helped Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental
Protection (PADEP) develop their training program and assisted PADEP in
training P2E2 consultants for ACT 190 work.
Pennsylvania established ACT 190 in 1999 with the objective of encouraging
small businesses in the State of Pennsylvania to conserve energy and other
resources, through P2E2, and subsequently of improving Pennsylvania's
environment. PADEP is aiding ACT 190 by instituting a P2E2 training program
for regional consultants. Working with PADEP, GEOMET has helped to make
